Roots Up is an evidence-based video library hosting 5-minute videos that soothe the nervous system and calm the body and mind. Through a guided experience, Julie Campilio uses deep breathing, mindfulness, yoga, and guided imagery to give children and those who care for them a mindful pause to soothe body and mind, together. This library is based on 15 years of experience working with a wide variety of students and teachers, who have taught her that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to navigating emotions, especially big ones! Along with the 5-minute experiential videos, the library also comes with a 40-minute webinar for staff which explains how and why these practices impact the body and mind.
