Your special day at Penobscot Bay Weddings & Events can begin with a ceremony on the banks of the riverbed. This well-maintained lawn area can host up to 160 people with benched seating. Here, you can exchange vows overlooking the river as the sun shines down on you and your guests. Once you’ve tied the knot, you’re welcome to explore the seven acres of private land or relax with a cocktail in hand, mingling with loved ones. While your family and friends enjoy cocktail hour, you and your spouse can enjoy exclusive access to the property’s most picturesque photo locations.

Receptions that run long into the evening can be hosted in the venue’s large pole tent that provides vistas of the bay. This marquee includes handmade hardwood tables, chairs, lighting, and a spacious dance floor. In total, up to 160 people can celebrate in the tent along with a live band or DJ.

After your dream celebration comes to a close, you can spend the night at the Honeymoon Cottage, just steps from where your ceremony was held. Additional facilities at this site include a suite for the couple to use when they’re getting ready for the day. This 4,000-square-foot private residence is decorated with stained glass windows, Persian rugs, a chandelier, antique furniture, vintage artwork, record players, and a wrap-around porch.

Services Offered
