Mainely Scents

I originally started my business as a creative outlet to offset the stressful toll my job of 10.5 years in a retail pharmacy was taking on my mental and spiritual health and wellbeing.

After Covid hit, I started working 65-80 hour weeks and after 2 years of that, my body all but shut down. Unfortunately, I was let go from my position after being bed ridden for over a month. Little did I know it would end up being the best thing that ever could have happened to me!

Once I started feeling better and regaining my strength and energy, I was able to put my heart and soul into my products and the feedback I received from customers was amazing.

I’ve always had a passion for cleaner, more natural products. They can be hard to find and crazy expensive so I started making my own. I posted about them on social media and friends and family were begging me to start selling them so they could try them.

I cannot describe the joy I feel making and sharing my products with my customers. I feel so humbled and blessed with the outpouring of love and support I’ve received and I am grateful for all of my loyal customers.

I cannot imagine doing anything else. I feel so grateful to be able to help with several local fundraisers. It’s truly an honor and a privilege to make a difference in people’s lives. With all the support, Mainely Scents has been able to donate 25 bars of soap to The Bangor Homeless Shelter, wet and dry cat and dog food and treats to The Old Town Animal Orphanage, personalized Easter bunnies and coloring shirt sets to struggling families, gift baskets to various school/sport fundraisers and firefighters from a town in Maine, money to a Greenbush couple who lost their home in a fire and many many more to come!
