If you need to work effectively with people who live in poverty, the Gettin’ By training program is for you. Lots of training about poverty focuses on WHAT low-income people need. Gettin’ By is the only training on HOW people can receive the help you offer. The two-hour live or online session centers on a game specially designed to put you through the same brain changes that happen to a person living in poverty. After a primer on the science, participants get a framework to “audit” how much mental bandwidth their own services demand, and a method to brainstorm ways to improve.
